Boosters
• Fixed another bug causing some users to be unable to successfully equip boosters, causing you to "see" the booster as equipped but not receive the correct bonuses.

Matchmaking
• Fixed an issue with party matchmaking causing permanent 4v3 matches.
• Optimized how we retrieve the list of servers to reduce impact on internet connections when searching
• While the full overhaul to matchmaking is still in the works, tweaks have been made to the existing system to improve the chances of finding an ideal match (nearby, of similar level). Searches may take longer to complete as a result as the system now spends longer widening your search incrementally.

Parties and Playlist Level Requirements
• Players too low level to join a specific playlist will now be allowed to if a member of their party is qualified for that playlist.
• For example, a level 2 will be able to play in the "Team Deathmatch" playlist if a higher level friend invites him to a party and searches for it. We want friends to be able to play together and never see a screen where they are ineligible for all playlists on offer.
• We still prevent players from joining a playlist they are too high level to join. Players above level 10 cannot play "New Recruit" regardless of who they party with.

Optimization
• Further optimization on Sommerdamm and The Fane maps

Perks and Item Statistics
• Fixed a bug causing Vampire Special Abilities to not receive the correct random buff and debuff values. They are meant to be identical to those Human weapons receive, but they were using the "minor" versions of buff/debuffs instead. This has been corrected and your items will automatically update.
• Cooldown perks and random item stats have been reduced in effectiveness as they were too powerful relative to other options.
• "Undying Wisdom" and "Quick Wits" perks now reduce cooldowns by 10% (was 15%)
• Random item statistics now reduce or increase cooldowns by 5% (was 10%)

Bugs
• Fixed multiple bugs with Siege Mode objectives not displaying correctly.
• Fixed a corpse in Sommerdamm that was preventing damage from grenades and other AOE effects
• Fixed Deceiver's default armor not properly using APEX cloth
• Fixed a bug with Deceiver's silhouette outline interacting poorly with Backstab
• Fixed a bug preventing Sentinels from flying for half a second after vaulting over a wall or obstacle

Party System
• Disabled Party Server deployed on August 4 while we investigate issues with it. We have reverted to the previous Party System

Boosters
• Fixed Bug that prevented Boosters from being equipped correctly, which also kept players from receiving the correct XP and Gold bonuses when using that Booster

Hunter Class
• Grenade damage reduced to 500 (was 550), radius reduced to 525 (was 600)
• Sticky Grenade damage reduced to 450 (was 500)

User Interface
• Message of the Day will only be shown as "Unread" if had not been viewed previously
• Fixed a bug that resulted in Tooltips sometimes displaying off-screen
• Fixed a bug that caused the Chat box to get stuck

Optimization
• "Low" Details setting now disables video settings more aggressively for better performance gains
• The Fane has received an optimization pass for users on "Low" and "Medium" Detail settings
• Video Settings may reset as a result of these canges, our apologies for the inconvinience

Options
• Fixed a bug that kept FOV and Max FPS Settings from saving​
For advanced users until UI Support is added:
  • ​Exposed "bOneFrameThreadLag" setting in BCMPUserProfile.ini
  • ​​Exposed "bUseMouseSmoothing" setting in BCMPUserProfile.ini

Miscellaneous Bug Fixes
• Vampire Melee sounds no longer get too loud
• User Status is now only checked once when the game boots to verify access to the Beta. This should fix or reduce problems that players have seen with "Failed to Retrieve User Status" errors​



Known Issues
We are still urgently looking into the following issues left over from the Nosgoth Free Weekend event:
• "Ghost" players creating 4v3 games
• "No Servers Available" matchmaking errors when the servers are actually up
• Some players getting random or consistent server disconnects
• Some players inability to connect to the Online Suite
• Matches not starting when the Lobby appears full

• Fix for joining a party while already in a game and failing to connect to the host's lobby

Radial Blur Effects
• Last update, many abilities with "radial blur" effects, like Grenade explosions, were adjusted. Based on feedback, we have auto-disabled the blur components of these effects. You can turn them back on again if you set the when the "Motion Blur" option to "On" in the"Video" settings

​Patch Sizes
• This is another large patch -- we are aware that this isn't ideal and have a solution to reduce patch sizes in place, please bear with us on this one. We are definitely working to limit the number of large patches being sent out.

User Interface
Interface Update
- The Frontend UI has been overhauled for a cleaner, more functional experience.
- Please report any severe bugs on the forum!

Store
- New, more space efficient display for better browsing
- Weapons and Skins can now be previewed in 3D by clicking on the "Eye" icon for eligible items
- Sales are now supported and will begin appearing soon!

Armory
- 3D preview is now the default view and will show your current loadout, including equipped weapons and skins.

Party System Beta Test
New Party Server
- We are rolling out the first pass at our new Party system backend.
- This replaces the existing Party backend with a faster, more reliable system that should make partying up a much smoother experience.
- This is a public BETA of the system and THERE ARE BUGS! Please report issues you encounter on the forum, and see the known issues list below. We intend to rapidly hotfix major problems with this system.

Party Balancing
- In significantly unbalanced matches, player parties will now be split up amongst teams to achieve a better balance. This will only happen if the average rank of one team is at least 10 ranks higher than that of their opponents, and will typically only affect larger parties (3-4 people). You will be notified in lobby chat when this occurs.
- Parties will still be kept together in all other circumstances. You will not be split up against evenly matched opponents.

Matchmaking and Team Balancing
Team Deathmatch Level Requirement
- The primary "Team Deathmatch" Playlist now requires Rank 3 to queue up for. New players must play in "New Recruit" until they achieve that rank.

Matchmaking Tweaks
- While the full overhaul to Matchmaking is not ready yet, we have made a few small changes to place more emphasis on finding a match of players close to your Rank.
- Intermission time between matches has been reduced to 30 seconds from 60.

|The Fane
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue preventing some abilities and other actions like Execution from functioning correctly inside the center of the map
- Fixed miscellaneous collision issues

Deceiver
Infect
- Reduced impact damage to 205 (was 225) and DoT damage to 200 (was 250)

- Shroud is now more visible than before to enemies

Reaver
Sweeping Kick
- Damage increased to 400 (was 375)
- Now pushes enemies backwards while they stumble
- Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds (was 10)

Leap Attack
- Damage reduced to 200-350 (was 225-422)

Tyrant
Charge, Marathon
- Tyrant now has a latent telekinetic "shield" effect while charging to indicate that he will deflect incoming projectiles like Bolas while Charging.

Prophet
Eldritch Guard
- Cooldown increased to 20 seconds (was 15)
- Duration reduced to 8 seconds (was 10)
- Shield reduced to 325 (was 350)
- Fixed a bug causing the tooltip to show 0 Shield Amount.

Known Issues
- Infrequently, the host of a party may not see the invited player in their party list in the UI.
- If two players quit an active game and form a party, the party host can matchmake successfully but the client may encounter difficulties.
- Closing Nosgoth via Windows (or alt-F4, etc.) while in a party may cause adverse effects. For now, as long as you quit via the in-game Exit prompts, you will correctly leave your party.

Human Weapon Balancing
Recoil
- Addressed an inconsistency with how recoil was handled across human weapons. Some weapons were receiving recoil correction (Scout Bows, Alchemist Cannons, Prophet Pistols) and others were not (Hunter Crossbows). This was making the Prophet’s Pistols in particular too easy to use from afar as they were compensating for most of their own recoil between shots. Recoil compensation has been disabled for Scout Bows and Prophet Pistols. It is still enabled for the Alchemist as her weapon is designed around a brief kick but not sustained recoil, but this can be revisited later if necessary.
- Vertical recoil (upwards “kick” when weapon is fired) has been increased on Scout Bows and Prophet

Pistols
- Horizontal recoil (left or right “kick” when weapon is fired) has been increased on Prophet Pistols
- Recoil reduction from ironsights is now 25%, was 50%. Hunter Crossbow recoil no longer increases as quickly to compensate. In general we don’t want ironsights/scoping to be required to aim successfully, and would prefer more consistent recoil between targeting modes with more freedom for player movement out of ironsights.

Clip Sizes
- In an effort to address ongoing win rate deficit for human teams, many human weapons have received slight increases to clip size or reload speed to increase effectiveness without buffing raw DPS numbers, which could break high level play.
- Hunter Crossbow clip sizes restored to pre-nerf values
- Alchemist Launcher reload times reduced across the board
- Prophet Pistol clip sizes increased slightly

Humans
- Reduced fall damage from non-Kidnap/Abduct related falls
